We operate our collection and transformer salvage services around the UK, but primarily in London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire.
We are licensed carriers of hazardous waste materials, and as members of the Industry Accreditation Agencies, CHAS and Alcumus Safecontractor, we hold the appropriate licenses and certifications to undertake your specific project.

Redundant Transformers and Switchgear Oils removal options
- Redundant Transformers with oils, and Switchgear with oils, can be removed from your site as complete loads, i.e. together with their oil contents contained and irrespective of potential PCB contaminates.We will supply: Transport – ADR qualified drivers – Specialised lifting equipment – and lifting plan documentation where applicable, to take your load to our licensed premises where contaminant testing and drainage can be undertaken safely.
- Alternatively, we can drain all oils from your equipment at your site. It is imperative that legislative precautions are complied with when removing potentially harmful substances, especially when they contain hazardous PCBs.Transformers will be isolated, drained and flushed through. Environmental Agency regulations are complied with throughout the processes.Our qualified Operatives have a wealth of experience in handling such contaminates when decontaminating and dismantling transformers and equipment.The vehicles we use are designed specifically for the safe transportation of toxic and hazardous materials.
The Project
We arrange a site visit to assess all the risks associated with the job and will supply you with our quotation, which will be very competitive.
Following acceptance of the quotation, we will issue with our Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) for approval. We confirm that the works will not compromise the BMS (Building Management System) or interrupt the running operation of your site.
Your approval of the RAMS will evidence your compliance to meet all the health and safety and legal criteria of the Environment Agency for the disposal of Hazardous Wastes.
Upon our arrival at site, Operatives will sign the RAMS to confirm that they are understood.
Safety aspects such as hazard signs and barriers will be erected to protect all third parties on site.
Our site foreman will oversee the operation, as detailed in your specific Method Statement, and will work in tandem with your Site Management for the clearance project.
Upon completion of the works all areas will be left clean and tidy.
Documentation
In accordance with legislative requirements all appropriate documentation will be issued to you for your Company records, including Waste Consignment Transfer Notes and a Certificate of Destruction, by approved waste disposal specialists, following incineration.
